How long have you had diabetes?
I was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 11, 12 years ago now.

Which type of diabetes you have?
I have Type 1 Diabetes.

How did you manage, growing up? Did you hide your diabetes?
I had my memory. until the age of about 13, my parents had all controls of me and my disease. until I learned how to do my own injection. which give me a small space of me. on other hand I can’t say that I’m proud to have diabetes but I usually handle it.

binge a girl with diabetes its was very difficult for me. on other hand I really wanted to be like every one else like my sisters my brothers without any attention for all of my family I started hiding the diabetes more and more when I grow up and some times I really had time to ignoring it
it was something wrong to do, its take me to ICU which I had a DKA diabetic ketoacidosis which is life threatening. but now I promise my self to take care of my self and not do it again
Can you talk to me about DKA?
Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) is a life-threatening problem that affects people with diabetes. It occurs when the body starts breaking down fat at a rate that is much too fast. The liver processes the fat into a fuel called ketones, which causes the blood to become acidic
What treatment do you use for your diabetic?
I use insulin
How often do you have to test your glucose levels?
I test up to 10 times a day and its depend on how I felt.
How do you will manage your diabetes?
By monitoring my glucose level. so if my glucose is high I increase the insulin and if its low I go to eat or drink some juice
Otherwise my blood glucose is typically being normal now
Can you determine if you have low or high level of diabetes without using the device? Give example?
Yes, I can
When I have a high blood sugar, I get sleepy, and tired also sometimes I feel that I’m so anger
When it’s low, I can’t see properly, and I can’t concentrate.
Do you check your glucose level by yourself or do someone do it for you?
I check my glucose level by my self
If you have the opportunity to develop the diabetes device what will be your suggestions?
I think that I really need to be developed a diabetes to check my glucose level without injection to be easier to me

How long have you had diabetes?
I had the diabetes when I become 35, so now its 5 years ago
Which type of diabetes you have?
My diabetes is type 2
What treatment do you use for your diabetic?
Normally I use drugs 2 times a day in morning and before I get sleep.
How often do you have to test your glucose levels?
Actually, I check my glucose level before my main meals and also before I get sleep which it’s like 4 to 5 time a day.

Can you determine if you have low or high level of diabetes without using the device? Give example?
Yes, I can.
For example: when I my glucose level is high I usually be angry, and I can’t endure any one. When my glucose level is low I feel tired and sleepy and always I want to lay down.
Do you check your glucose level by yourself or do someone do it for you?
Mostly I do it by myself unless my diabetes level is low my daughter do it for me.

If you have the opportunity to develop the diabetes device what will be your suggestions?
I think that I really want a devise with easy steps this its take long to check my glucose level so I want something I can do it in one second.
